In today’s world, electricity has become an integral part of our lives. From household appliances to large industries, all rely on electricity. However, with increasing electrical installations, there comes an inherent risk of electrical hazards.
Electrical earthing is a critical safety measure that helps protect both people and equipment. Earthing provides a safe path for electrical currents to flow to the earth in case of any faults, preventing damage or electrocution.
Chemical Earthing is a type of earthing that utilizes chemicals and electrodes to create a conductive path between the earth and the electrical installation. This method of earthing is gaining popularity due to its effectiveness in providing low impedance paths for electrical faults.
In this technology, one strip and one pipe are used. The strip (main conductor) is placed centrically inside the outer pipe and space inside the electrode is tightly filled with a crystalline conductive mixture (CCM) and then sealed. The crystalline mixture contains natural elements and compounds, which are high conductive as well as anti corrosive.
Back Fill Compound is specially developed compound capable of absorbing and retaining the moisture for a longer period. It has all the qualities of an ideal Back Fill Compound for an effective & efficient Earthing System. It consistently holds its own shape and adheres to any surface it touches.
The principle of operation for ESE terminals is to create an upward propagating streamer earlier than conventional air terminals or other objects on the earth by collecting and storing ground charge during the initial phase of a thunderstorm development and emits strong and consistent upwards streamers to intercept leaders.
